Punk and Stuff

Kverlertak - Kvelertak (2010)

The most satisfying and skillful blending of genres I’ve heard in a long time. My mind is blown. Black metal meets hardcore/crust/power punk meets balls-to-the-walls rock ‘n’ roll to make my ears have orgasms. Cover art courtesy of the ever-talented John Dyer Baizley of Baroness.

It took me a while to get around to listen to this, but now that I have… holy crap. Film Ghoul’s description above is dead on.
Listening to this reminds me of the way I felt when I first heard Refused “Shape of Punk to Come”. Amaaaazing.
